Short answer; no. Long answer; no. Though you can look for it on The Anime Network when it hits your area.
Here also is the knowledge I have of TAN.
1)They will air all anime uncut. This is why they allowed CN to edit Eva. They knew that it would be shown uncut on their channel evenutally.
2) It won't just be ADV shows. ADV wants it to be a place for anime not ADV anime.
3) It's rolling out here in San Diego soon. By the end of teh year soon. At around the same time it will be rolling out in at least 15-20 cities (all of which they listed at the comic-con) _________________ "Veni. Vedi. Spooki." - Julius Caesar

Dai-Guard is owned by ADV.
ADV hates Cartoon Network.
...There ya go.
The only way ADV would ever bond with Cartoon Network is if the company got a new management restructuring with some people that actually like the network, but the chances of that happening are 1%. _________________ Toonami visual schedule - UPDATED AUGUST 2, 2015 |

"Hate" might be too strong a word to describe their business relationship.
"Conflict of Philosophies" might be a better term. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

Philosophies?
Well ADV likes to bring you a variety of different things in their original glory.
Cartoon Network likes to take away Yusuke's ablility to say PISS and let Chrstopher Sabat voice everyone when he has the range of a tethered 15 ton weight. Then again, without the Cartoon Network I wouldn't get free anime to watch on an increasingly steady basis.
But on the other hand, they played Reign somewhere in the neighborhood of 34,000 times.
I guess I'd call it a draw... _________________ JKyle.com (Because bad things happen to good people)

It's a free discussion.
Everyone should have a chance to pile on without waiting for me.
Anyway:
-Edited for network standards (BS&P) vs. Full uneditted, curse-added glory
-Who's supposed to pay for these edits, anyway? (Williams Street:"If you want it on our network, you have to pay for the editting to our broadcast standards.")
-Licensing costs. (Bandai, Pioneer and FUNi virtually give away their TV shows. ADV, moneygrubbing bastiches that they are, believes CN should actually pay for broadcast rights! )
Basically, ADV's position seems to be, "Why should we have to go through all this trouble when we have enough money to start our own network?"
So they did. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

Whoa... slow down and repeat that. These people plan to ASK for MONEY in EXHCANGE for GOODS and SERVICES?
No way!
P.S. I don't hate Cartoon Network, just Sabat. I also miss hearing Yusuke's VA yell a variation of "piss me AWF!" 3 times an episode. Before Kurama's tournament fights, it made the show for me. _________________ JKyle.com (Because bad things happen to good people)

Ok, Daikun; you are an idiot. ADV doesn't hate CN, not at all actually. ADV realizes what CN is trying to do with it's Toonami and AS blocks. It also realizes it doesn't really have a real outlet for trully uncut anime. WIlliams Street tries very hard to make stuff as uncut as possible but in the end the whole network is for kids. ADV knows CN does the best it can with what it has to offer. ADV also realizes that it's not really enough for their plans of anime.
So to recap briefly: ADV respects CN but doesn't agree with it's market plan.
Personally I wouldn't pay for an anime network; I don't believe in paying for indivdual channels (HBO is different as it is actually like 7 channels). ADV is experimenting with iControl to see if (1) people will use it (2) People will PAY to use it, as the iControl version of the channel will be a PAY channel (3) ADV is going to try to see about using the SAP audio options to include the original japanese audio and have subtitles as close captions.

If you're thinking Sega Genesis Evangelion then yes, yes it is. _________________ "Veni. Vedi. Spooki." - Julius Caesar

No weee. This was back during giant robot week. If you remember, it was the most terribly butchured piece of animation to hit CN. Ever. _________________ This space left intentionally blank.
