Post subject: Hey Newbies, just curious about something

I'm talking mostly to the brand new fresh newbies here, Why do you insist of saying "THIS IS MY FIRST POST!!!1!"? I understand that you're happy that you registered finally but do you expect us regulars to stop and go "HUZZAH! HUZZAH! A newbie has joined! Oh frabous day calloo callay!"? Just curious as to why you people think its nessesary to announce your pressence in such a tactless way instead of just posting at least semi-intellegently and earning some respect? I'm really curious, I want to know.

(scratches head) Did I do one of those? No wait I did do a
"Im new to the..." reply in one of the threads. And I am a fresh and tasty newbie. Believe me I am no where a newbie to message boards. I have built and run to many to be counted as that. So why did I do that knowing it was the wrong thing. Fear of being unloved? Yeah that could do it? An introduction before finding the thread marked "Newbie introductions here". Oiy my head hurts. And I do know better to.
Until your comfortable with a forum you make a lot of mistakes. Heck i've been here three days and I know the ones I have made already. No way to fix them.
I'm going to work on being here more then a week. Just as long as I don't continue with apologetic replies. |

There is a way to fix your posts. Just click the edit button next to the quote button in your posts. The thread in the mindless drivel forum is the introduction thread.
