Is Toonami getting any new shows besides FF and Hellboy? And has there been any word on Escaflowne?  |

Fox lost the rights earlier this year and Bandai announced that they may consider "shopping around" again, but chances are likely slim, considering how badly Fox treated it.

| I thought of it last week, but why not The Slayers? I remember reading that CN wanted the show, but FOX bought the rights to air it. Of course, they never did, so we're all tortured to buy the tapes (luckily, our rental store had almost every single one from all three series. Not the movies though). If Fox's contract is up, I think that CN should consider getting the series for Toonami. It would make a perfect fit. |

It didn't seem like anyone had anything to say about the Hellboy movie. What's up with that? I thought it was sensational. The plot was interesting, the animation was cool, and the script was well written and not PG. are more coming?

Yes. Another Hellboy movie is due for the block, hopefully next year.
And I personally thought it was fantastic. Dark Horse needs to invest in more animated properties for CN. To be honest, I've been kind of underwhelmed by Marvel's stuff this year. It's ok, but it's not as good as the numerous DC shows that aired over the years. Meanwhile, DH instantly had me hooked.
