*Shrug* I liked that voice too. I mean, I like the black$white bumpers better, but I liked the voice. I think Cartoon Network has much more of a flare for this stuff than most networks.

Hopefully, Saturday AS will have those same witty bumpers

And not that damned annoying "Robot Jones" voice

I'm hoping they have someting totally different. I like the B&W Cards but I don't like them for action. It would be nice if they got a new format for Sundays and Saturdays fitting action and comedy while leaving weekdays the way it is.

That is true, that's the one thing I like about Cartoon Network in general. They have a knack for doing stuff like this.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons I like them so much.

I guess I'll put my two cents in for Miguzi....

After 4 days of sporatic viewing I've come to a few conclusions:

1. The block will hit the audience it was intended for, 9-12 year olds.
2. They did kinda a half a** job with the packaging, almost as if it was an afterthought.
3. Apart from the Titans, Code Lyoko should be the main draw for the block for any Toonami vewiers that still might be hanging around, though it has its faults:
a. Good concept
b. Lines need a little work
c. Has potential
4. I miss my daily dose of Tom, but Erin dosen't make me run screaming either.

At any rate, we will have to see how it goes. For the moment, I think Miguzi will do what it is intended to do. Get more younger kids, to sell more spots. One thing I did notice is there are more ad breaks for the Miguzi shows than there ever were for toonami. I think it's about 3:1.

Any thoughts?

Taro.

I think you pretty much nailed it ont eh ehad there with that. But don't forget about TMNT, it's a popular show (and pretty good to boot), the only real downer to the block is Totally Spies. I fairly pleased with the Toonami weekday replacement, it's become exactly what it needed to be.

Besides, now Toonami is SPECIAL again. Remember when it used to be special? It's been a while.

I personally am extremely pleased. Not with Meguzi, please note, I hate the crap out of it. But I am pleased that its there. Because now, Toonami can be what its supposed to be. You've heard me whine without end about the stupidity of Toonami. Now I don't need to whine because it now rocks. And I won't whine about Meguzi because I truly have no real intrest in it. This makes me Oh so happy.

I'm still a little upset that Cartoon Network put Toonami on one day and replaced it with Miguzi, but as for the look and feel of Miguzi I think it is has good 3D animation but the contex of the animation leves little to the imagination. Miguzi is mising the look and feel of Toonami one of My favorite parts was when Tom wound rate video games you don't get that with Miguzi. Oh well at least Cartoon Network didn't take Toonami completely off the air <srug>.

Essentially there is no substance to Miguzi, it's all fluff and hence no reason to really keep you there once you've seen the interstitionals.
