Post subject: REQUESTING REENFORCEMENTS! (BF1942)

This may need to go in the games thread, but I VERY curious to know the answer to this question...
How many of your crazy people play Battlefield 1942 or one of it's mods?

Most of the PDF plays DoD, CS, and TFC. Those are all Halflife mods. I havnt gotten BF yet.

| Y'know, I wouldn't mind being on the PDF team, I'm usually pretty good at FPS, but I don't have Half Life. How good is everybody on the team? Good? Moderate? Really good? L33t? |

I sometimes screw around in BF at LAN parties... But I haven't managed to get it on my box yet. Once I do... The online world will ph33r my skills with the B-17!
Haven't played Desert Combat yet.
And I've suggested to PDF that we make BF our game. They don't seem to like that idea.

Yes, let's.
Here's something amusing the other day I did in Desert Combat.
While playing in Gazala, I got a Su-25 on my tail while flying the C130. I juked around while looking backwards, and didn't realize where I was going. I managed to crash the C130 into an interesting postion.

You sure it's not an AC-130, as opposed to a plain C-130?

| It's kinda both. People can spawn in it and jump out while at the same time it has 3 machine gun emplacements, 1 tank cannon, and 1 regular cannon. |

Now that's one gnarly piece of equipment. I wonder if the C-47 in Secret Weapons was inspired by the mobile spawn aspect of the (A)C-130...
