Post subject: I Challenge TylerL to a Dance-Dance Deul!
|
|
|
|
It has recently come to my attention that Missouri is very close to Illonois. It probably shouldn't have been so recent, as Missouri is the state I'm going to live in for the next for years, but meh.
The point is, that sometime, somewhere in the next four years (preferably soon, as there are no machines near where I'll be, and I expect my skills to get rusty), I must face TylerL in a competition of the dance pad. I would, however, like him to clarify his End of the Century skills, as anyone who's played more than a few hours of a game can pass it on Basic. Heck, Ixidor can pass it, and he stomps to high hell, using almost exclusively his right foot.
So the question begs: just how good are you, TylerL? _________________ This space left intentionally blank.

You're right. Tyler's in Chicago.
Shinobo is at Missouri-Columbia, if I remember his posting history correctly. That's why he's psyched. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

I have bad memories of Missouri colleges.
...well, of people I knew who went to Missouri colleges.
Sort of. Weirdly.
I don't like Rolla.
Don't get me started on Truman. _________________ My old sig was too long. |

Kill Truman.
And John, FAK....
I'm sorry. Rolla is a famous famous place around Columbia. Mostly because it's a sad sad place. To quote Louis Black, "If you're gonna kill yourself, Rolla's the place to do it! No distractions. You'll get there, and just BOOM!" |

I don't either, I just like the school. It's funny, you can feel the concentric circles of stupidity. The farther you go from campus, the further the collective IQ around you drops. It's quite scary, actually... _________________ This space left intentionally blank.

If it's any comfort, John, you'd have felt the same way or worse at Rose-Hulman... _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

Ladies and gentlemen, four months and seven weeks ago (or at least somewhere in that neighborhood) I issued this challenge. I am now happy to say that I in fact WILL be going to Acen this year. This is the perfect opportunity to meet any of the rest of the TIL that plans on going.
TylerL, I will most certainly find you in Chicago.
And then... we Dance!
...Dance. _________________ This space left intentionally blank.

Funny part:
I haven't (really) played DDR in over a year.
...and my "claim to fame" was an A grade in End of the Century on Normal difficulty. _________________ My old sig was too long. |

My claim to fame is that the only songs I can't beat are either Paranoia Evolution or have max somewhere in their name. _________________ This space left intentionally blank.

For those of you who would like to know exactly why Rolla sucks, as told by Lewis Black, right click and save as... 2.3 Mb _________________ To do two things at once is to do neither. —Publilius Syrus, Roman slave, first century B.C. |
