Have you heard of a new series called Shaman King? It airs on tghe FOX BOX at 10 ET, and it's from the creators of YU-Gi-Oh. Trust me, if you don't olike Yu-Gi-Oh, yuo should still see Shaman King. It's awesome.
It should be on Toonami, but it's not.!
Please use this thread to post your opinions on Shaman King, and any news(or rumors) about it being on Toonami.

obviously, since FOX has the rights, it will not be on toonami.
This has happened with several series over the years including some like Escaflowne, slayers.

You are wronng. CN bought the rights for Yu-Gi-Oh, even though they also show it on Kids WB. Also Kids WB bought the rights for Teen Titans. So there's a slim chance of Shaman King Getting on Toonami, but it might still get on Saturday Action Block on CN.

Excuse you.
I'm not wrong.
WB and CN have had a limited partner-ship for a long time now, as I'm assuming you didn't know. A very long time. Ever since around 1999.
Because in Central America and Caribbean Cartoon Network they showed Pokemon long before it aired on CN in the United States.
There was no buying of rights involved, CN simply decided to share the rights with WB and vice-versa so that ithe shows gets more viewers and a larger amount of showtime.
Next time make sure you're right before saying someone else is wrong.
Thank you.

Well, I guess You're right. CN has been showing A LOT of WB cartoons( for instance, What's New Scooby Doo?).
But I still think that there's a slim chance of Shaman King being on CN.
BVy the Way, do you actually watch Saman King????

The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles airs on the Fox Box, and Cartoon Network picked up the rights for that series (it'll be airing in 2004). Also, 4Kids WANTS to make more deals with CN anyway (for a certain rea$on...), so the possibility of seeing Shaman King on CN isn't that far-fetched.
And as for Kids' WB! and Cartoon Network, they have had a programming partnership since 2001 when Kids' WB! creator Jamie Kellner took over Turner Broadcasting (the parent company of CN) for a couple of years, and even though Kellner is no longer in charge of Turner, the KWB/CN partnership is still in effect.
And Kids' WB! didn't really have to "pick up" the rights to Teen Titans. Both networks worked in conjunction on that series, so they both owned it automatically.

I agree with Daikun on this. I fully expect more 4Kids shows to start repeating on CN in the future. But it'll probably be on either prime-time or Saturdays, not Toonami (looking at YGO and Pokemon as examples). _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Huh, Daikun made a good point. I didn't even think of that.
The WB and CN are owned by Time Warner. Whatever cross-promotions you can have are good. If it was Kellner's idea to do that, then he did something smart. I don't care if you hate Kellner, it's good business, and it's good for keeping both networks alive. I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but Cartoon Netowkr has been creating more and more shows over the past few years. About 5 years ago, Dexter's Lab was their only original show. Now look what they have currently in production: Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Kids Next Door, Samurai Jack, Those Clone Wars shorts, Justice League, Teen Titans, Lowbrow is coming . . . the list goes on. And the best part? Less time for Scooby Doo.
If any of this can be ascribed to Kellner, then he did SOMETHING right. Because Cartoon Network is flourishing.
Point is, Time Warner owns both netwoks, so there is no buying of rights, since they are the same company. And I believe that with the new TMNT, it's more of a renting of rights, than a buying. Correct me if I'm wrong. _________________ anime is teh s uck

ANYWAY, I think CN should expand to a Toonami Channel. How about that?
