I think it isent really offensive. There are points on were it racial but it shows on what you should and not do on the streets. Its a good anime and the quality is good also they all do there part to describe us on how life was back then. It shows racial diversity, it shows how much we have changed now and it put it in an aspect in which we would understand. I may be a noobie but anime to me is a symbol of how we view fantasy and how we feel life should be like or shouldn't be like. I watch anime because its entertaining and the aspects of it just light up my soal I cant get enough of it and I make sure I watch it when one of my favorite ones is on. I just want to say that Adult swim and Toonami your one of a kind don't change a bit.

A) The show is not an anime. It's american made, based on a comic strip of the same name.
B) The show does NOT show how much we've "changed". Why not? Because the show takes place in present day. The show illustrates the way things ARE, at least in a way.
Also, the episode about the Lemonade stand? The whole episode is an homage to Spike Lee's third (I think third, maybe second) movie, Do The Right Thing. I saw this episode a few months back, then saw Do The Right Thing, then saw the episode again, and the entire thing is just an homage to Spike Lee.
What any of that means, well . . .*SHRUG* I'm not good at interpreting stuff, I'm just good at noticing and recognizing stuff. _________________ anime is teh s uck

Sorry for calling it a anime, but it does depict the people of today and the racism that goes around. It a good show I think, but is has alot of flaws.
If you can't watch ASV, new episodes air on Mondays at 11:30PM. _________________ Toonami visual schedule - UPDATED AUGUST 2, 2015

I don't see why so many people blame rap music for crime and whatnot and go to forums and say how they like a show like The Boondocks, it's hypocrisy. The gangsta-like people who watch this show are going to think, "we finally have a cartoon we can relate to.", it's so dumb. I also think Aaron McGruder has racial issues or something, he does not have a good state of mind.

i, personally don't like the show. i never liked the boondoks, and i hated the show even more when i had an opportunity to mee the creator. he wa sspeaking at a college downtown about something, i went just to meet him and talk as a cartoonist to a cartoonist. he was a total ashole. arrogant as can be. _________________
