Wow...its so sad to see how this place has declined. During my early college years, this place was rockin with personality and fun. But everyone has to move on...

I'm just impressed you remembered your login info after all these years... =)
Good to see you're still floating around TWWK! Any life updates you'd like to contribute? _________________ "Life's a journey, not a destination..." -Aerosmith ('Amazing')

I graduated from college this spring with a history degree and landed a job working for the JET Program as an assistant language teacher. So w00ts!
I've been spending the summer months studying up Japanese and watching marathons of One Piece. I'm still playing cello and I'm trying to figure out a way to keep playing while I'm over there. I picked up WoW to stay in touch with some friends and I'm trying to keep it from sabotaging my life.
Interesting note: stFalcon5 (old Infolinker) is working in Japan now with the same program and we found out we're both looking to apply to UC Berkley sometime in the future. What a small world eh?
I hope you guys don't let your stories end where they are. There was always a lot of intelligent discussion around here and it would be a waste for any of you to not get to follow your dreams.
I'm keeping a blog...http://bettingpool.blogspot.com/...nothing there right now, but maybe soon. _________________ Bang.

I think I still hold the title of youngest of the oldest. I joined the TDA forums back when I was twelve, around august 2001.
Toonami will remain in my memory forever. It brought to me my first dose of anime, and awesome action cartoons. I came to you a child, and now I post a much taller, not much wiser child. To all who gave me a place on my first forum, thank you, for showing me the idiocy of the internet firsthand, so I wouldn't have to learn it the hard way.
I'm currently going into my third year of college now. You can still find me around, albeit on a very different name. Look for me in World of Warcraft (Feathermoon server, Argeris), and a bunch of other places too (PhaseMetal[FG] on steam, PhaseMetal everywhere else).
We have come to terms. _________________ *Floats by on a cloud*

Hey guys, how is everyone? Sorry I haven't kept up (though I have somewhat with dill and RLH - thank goodness for facebook!).
Anyway, I'm in Austin, as I had been when I first joined. I'm married and have a toddler (boy), with a baby (girl) on the way!

Whoa! So cool.
I'm not sure if anyone else can make that claim (besides Fodder of course )
Congrats all around. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

Actually, the reason I came back here was because someone has updated the Toonami Wiki to say that theres a rumor about Toonami being brought back in October, 09. I just wanted to know if anyone else had heard about this? _________________ I'm getting too old for this. :SNAP: OH GOD, MY HIP!

It's bullcrap. That rumor has been circulating for months by delusional, desperate fans who have no substantiated proof.
NEVER trust Wiki sites as a source for rumors. Only use them for pre-existing information.
Also, there's a Toonami Wiki? Link, please. _________________ Toonami visual schedule - UPDATED AUGUST 2, 2015

Hey guys,
Doin' an update for both me and John_Bono.
Well, I'm not sure where to begin. I guess 2006 will have to do (seems a popular enough year...)
So in 2006, John_Bono and I moved out with a couple of roommates together. (insert various drama) 3 months later we (both of us together) moved in with different roommates (insert various drama escalating to finally having to call the cops)
We didn't have roommates after that.
During this time we had both stopped going to college, but had gainful employment. We also discovered (once we lived on our own) that even paying more in rent and utilities, we were SAVING money rather than when we had roommates. I worked at a restaurant, Bono worked at an arcade, and then at the Star Trek Experience. (later, I too would be employed there and have 2 jobs for a while.)
Then Star Trek closed. We both lost our Jobs. Bono, however, had a job in a week. I was unemployed for about a month and a half, and was having some issues with the unemployment agency. THAT sucked. Thankfully I had savings, and then the unemployment thing got straightened out, and suddenly it was like "Ba-bAM! money!" (this was just last year, too, when it was starting to get hard to find a job)
I got lucky though, and my sister (a office manager at a law firm) knew a place that was hiring. She helped me with my resume, and I got a job! yay! I've been here ever since. Actually, I'm at work RIGHT NOW.
Oh! and Bono works for a robotics parts and kits company (though that may change- he's getting paid shit and is dissatisfied with his job. Also, his boss is a dick.)
As far conventions go, I have now participated in 3 anime conventions, and will be participating in a card and collectibles show this month. I sell lolita hats and headbands that I design and make. I am also working on wings that I can sell. Right now, things are looking good. If I can make enough money then I can register my DBA (doing buisness as) for the company I want to start.
Oh! I forgot to mention: John_bono and I are House hunting! ^.^ (actually, it's really frustrating)
So yeah, that's about it for now. I gotta get back to work. _________________ For every second John Bono spends reading one of your posts, there is a second where I'm not getting any sex. Please be concise.

Update to LLG's post:
We've been in our house for six-sih months.
I now work as a maintenance worker at a large hotel/casino by the strip.
LLG is currently unemployed and looking for work again.
I may be leaving my job in a few months to go to air traffic control school. _________________ This space left intentionally blank.
