I made a Stellar (from GSD) tribute amv. I used Linkin Park - Hit the Floor. When I watch it, I feel like something is missing. Can you people please watch it and leave me comments (if possible, make them detailed, not just "I like it" or "I hate it)
Here is the link (it will only work for about 5 more days)
Sorry for the double post, but doesn't anyone want to see it? I really want to hear some oppinions.

I forgot to watch it though since it took so long to download. _________________ The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

I'm trying to avoid GSD spoilers, so I didn't watch it. _________________ "Robots don't say 'ye'."

Well... If this was your first AMV. Good Job.
If it wasn't... Well, Practice will make you better.
Here are some key notes.
1. Subtitles - Sometimes it can't be helped.... But try to get the raws, they are usally of higher quality to. Win Win
2. Repeating Footage - I only saw one instance of it, but, still stands out.
3. Direction - You focused the amv on the blonde chick, by focus I mean, the majority of the clips contained images of her. The AMV showed no direction and no emotion for the charater. You need to consider that people that haven't seen GSD will watch this AMV and will not know the background/emotional persona of the person in focus. Try to tell a story along with the lyrics, even if it doesn't match the lyrics, try and have the current scene click with the mood of the song at the time.
4. Timing, It needs work... Remember, timing is one of the fews things that need to be perfect in an AMV. If it is off by anything, it can throw the mood/perspecive off for the entire video. I don't know what program you are using, but here is a general guideline for timing. Check >> If it isn't perfect >> Modify >> Check. Repeat til your timing is perfect. I know it can be tedious, but if you consider how long some professional AMVer's take to make a video. Usally 2 months to an entire year to make the video perfect.
Overall, Just keep workin at it. _________________ -Ixidor
