So, there's a good chance I can get fiber optic to my premises. The internet access will be good, but I can also get television access through it. And it will even have the Funimation channel.

Are we talking Verizon FiOS or an actual fiber connection to your house? _________________ I'm getting too old for this. :SNAP: OH GOD, MY HIP! |

The verizon fake fiber one, but it doesn't matter (to me at least). It will be "good enough". |

Going for the full 30 Mbps or one of the lower tiers? _________________ I'm getting too old for this. :SNAP: OH GOD, MY HIP! |

Same here man. I'm tired of having a top tier of 9 Mbps. _________________ I'm getting too old for this. :SNAP: OH GOD, MY HIP! |

Actually, in my area, it's offered up to 50 Mbps. The problem is that they are asking $180 per month for it. Those damn New Yorkers apparently only have to pay $60 for the same service. I can only guess that the issue must be taxes or something.
Anyway, the primary motivation for the FiOS is that they are significantly cheaper than cable in their television offerings. Whether I get the 10 Mbps or 20 Mbps service doesn't really matter to me. _________________ Able and Baker is nice. |
