Well actually we seem to be getting members alot faster than last time. After almost a year we only had about 650 on the old MB.

As far as I know, he has said nothing about that, or other improvments/fixes to the board.

In my humble opinion I think old threads that get resurrected shouldn't be locked. As long as the posts remain on topic they should stay. It gives the newbies a chance to add their two cents worth. It's not their fault they weren't here when the thread was new.
This is for the worthwhile threads of course, not the "I'm here" threads.

New board. Thus, member list would not list your old account.
Old topics are dead and rotting. They're UBER old and just clog the board with stuff we went over and is now a memory.

But sometimes, someone will BUMP a really, really old thread just to see what the reaction of Tyler or the Mods will be. And believe me, the results usually aren't pretty.
