Zoids: Chaotic Century (Vol. 1)

Zoids: Chaotic Century. The most underrated cartoon on toonami in 2002. I was a great fan of the series. The show was mindlessly taken off toonami in march 2003. The show has great action and the charater development is also well done. Finally, the series is coming out on dvd. The dvd holds the first 6 episodes of the series and a few minor extras for only $13.48 on amazon.com. The first episode focuses on van flyheight's love for zoids and his desire to become a zoids pilot like his father. Van finds himself in a desert with ruins and activates an organoid and names it zeek. He also finds a shield liger and fuses it with the organoid to make it a formidable opponent. He also activates a mysterious girl named fiona. Fiona travels with him on his journey to defeat the deathsaur and to help defeat the empire. This DVD is a great deal and a great way to get into zoids. This series deserves to be rerun as much as dbz was. No excuse. I recommend this to everyone.

My Score:

good review...i agree that they pulled the plug on zoids: cc way too early, as i never got to see how it ended! besides that, there were some solid characters and i liked how they approached the story with the viewer seeing van grow up over the course of the entire thing... good stuff gundam123! hopefully you will keep us in the loop with future volumes of the series...
