Usually they don't, but it's always enjoyable to watch well done animation with fluidity and some nice fight scene effects. To me anyway... _________________ "Never confuse being lazy with being apathetic. Lazy people are not apathetic. Apathetic people don't care about anything. Movie 2
I can live with no Sasuke, but no Temari equals fail.
No demon fox action in this movie, but the Rasengan solves everything like it always does.
Sakura actually does something useful? She must have gotten the easy fight. _________________ "Robots don't say 'ye'."

I too was missing the demon action, as well as Temari, and I wish there had been some more interaction/acknowledgment between Sand and Leaf. _________________ "Never confuse being lazy with being apathetic. No.
There's a break next weekend, but Naruto's 200th episode airs at 10:30 PM on October 4th, after the TV broadcast of Batman: Gotham Knight.
We'll have to wait and see where it goes after that. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

The big top may be gone, but the show goes on.
Saturday October 11th at 9:00 PM is a repeat showing of movie 2, Legend of the Stone of Gelel, and if zap2it holds true, we pick up where we left off with the episode "Multiple Traps: Countdown to Destruction" on October 18th at 10:30 PM (after the premiere of Justice League: The New Frontier at 9:00). _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Naruto filler has apparently been relegated to "Action Flicks" filler, with our next episode, "The Top 5 Ninja Battles", debuting at 10:30 PM on Nov. 1st, after the premiere of "Dr. Strange".
Next weekend (Nov 8th) looks a little better, with Naruto movie #3, "Guardians of the Crescent Moon Kingdom", taking up the full 9-11 PM slot.
:edit: stupid zap2it... _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

Really? I figured it was the DTV animated feature from last year. Either way, I'll have to set the 'ol VCR to catch it. Appreciate the heads-up! _________________ "Life's a journey, not a destination..." -Aerosmith ('Amazing')

Viz Media has announced that it will begin streaming the latest episodes of the Naruto Shippūden anime sequel within a week of their Japanese broadcast premiere — for free — on January 15. The next latest episode will be added with English subtitles every Thursday thereafter.
In addition, the official Naruto.com website will stream the first eight episodes of Naruto Shippūden for free on January 2. The website will add eight more episodes every Friday thereafter until all of the earlier episodes are online. Naruto.com is already streaming the episodes of the first Naruto ninja action series, and its ad-supported streams are available to users in the United States and Canada.
Viz Media has not indicated when Naruto Shippūden will be available with English dubbing, or how it will be available. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

Two months have passed since Action Flicks started and they've only gone through five episodes of Naruto?
Does CN even expect to finish this series? Adult Swim is expanding on January 1, and unless CN rushes through the series by the end of the year or moves AF (which I'm doubting, since they're already reairing movies that just premiered a few weeks ago), it's not going to last. _________________ Toonami visual schedule - UPDATED AUGUST 2, 2015

I'm still confused as to WHY Toonami was cancelled two months ago when this "Action Flicks" block is basically showing the same stuff. Woulda been a lot better had these movie weekends been some sort of countdown to a big farewell at the end of the year or something... _________________ "Life's a journey, not a destination..." -Aerosmith ('Amazing')

Maybe they could burn through all the remaining episodes at an end-of-the-year marathon? _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis
