Post subject: Petition to translate/release TM novels.
at the AIC boards I came upon a petition being done to the publisher to tranlate and publish the TM novels. Can't guarantee it'll go anywhere, but hey, at least we can try. it's been going for about 9 months or so...
http://www.petitiononline.com/TenchiM/petition.html
I felt this was worth posting even if it turns out a lost cause.

There are 2 things wrong with this:
1) 95% of AIC = lies and unsubstantiated rumors.
2) Petition Online is an ineffective way to make a petition work. Snail mail is your best bet.

I beg your pardon?
Not Animation Insider, Daikun, but Anime International Company, the animation studio behind a lot of popular titles, including Tenchi Muyo!. The forums there are where I get all this TM! info I pollute the boards with.
But yes, online petitions almost never work (even if I did sign this one). _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

Oh. Anime International Company? I thought he was talking about Ain't It Cool.
Sorry.
BTW, Nobu: There's no "C" in Animation Insider. I wasn't thinking about that.

One bad each makes a wash, I reckon. _________________ "When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."- C.S. Lewis

Yes and No. Companies know about online petitions, oh they know and they listen. I wouldn't suggest only doing an online petition, as it's just not enough, but they can do nothing but help. If nothing else, word of the problem the petition is about spreads and people will take the initiative to take it further.
